Describe the property

Give the street address, ZIP, affected rooms and approximate depth. Explain when you noticed the water and any known source. State what is uncertain and keep outside an unsafe area.

Discuss the assessment

Confirm contractor availability and any assessment charge. Explain access restrictions, large contents and who can permit entry or approve work.

Agree the pickup proposal

Review rooms, tasks, price, exclusions and payment terms. Ask about contents handling and the boundaries between extraction, source repair, drying and material repairs.

Review the handover

Ask how remaining moisture will be checked and explained. Clarify equipment days, return visits or additional tasks before authorizing them.
